When we moved into our office on Falls Run in February 2020, we were unprepared, like many, to be hit by what came the following month – Covid-19. After only being in the office 1 month, we quickly made the decision to have our team move to a work-from-home system until the province suggested it was safe to begin returning to work.

July 2020, we were back at the office and added an 8th member to our team. Less than 1 year later we’ve almost doubled in size! We assumed we had more time, but it was evident as we all gathered and rotated schedules to fit into our current office space, it was time to move to a more permanent location. We were unprepared for the growth we would see in our company within such a short timeframe and are thankful for each member of our team and their contributions to our continued success.

In May 2021, we closed on a property at 1395 Fall River Road. It was important we remained in the Fall River community – where we began – and saw an opportunity to transform a former yoga studio into what we call home today.

This location allows us easy access via several main highways to quickly reach our clients throughout the province. From Kentville, to Bridgewater, Cape Breton and in-between, Fall River is a hub for many of our clients.

We value an open workspace, and the main level office offers lots of natural light and opportunity for team collaboration. Our project and construction management team, as well as admin, marketing, finance and energy teams use this area. It may be unconventional to some, but we want our staff, clients, and partners to feel comfortable when here, so our main meeting area is off the kitchen – no more stuffy boardrooms. We try to keep it fairly casual – some days, it really does feel like home.

Moving to our lower level, our Airtight Spaces division has set up shop, making it possible to offer automated air sealing services to a variety of buildings, including new builds, renovations, multi-unit residential and commercial. We converted the lower kitchen to a smaller meeting and storage area and the open plan allows for several workstations for the team to prepare for their seals among other tasks.

We’ve been in our new office space for just over 3 months now and everyone has settled in nicely. There is ample space for our team to be onsite together again, and opportunity for us to continue to grow. We look forward to continuing to serve our clients throughout the Atlantic Provinces from our new location.

Feel free to stop by and say “HI” if you’re in the area, but until then, enjoy this sneak peek of our new home office.
