Deep decarbonisation modelling
Tate Engineering conducted a detailed energy analysis of a municipal aquatic facility with high fossil fuel dependency using RETScreen modelling. A baseline energy model was developed to evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for decarbonisation through HVAC upgrades, solar hot water integration, and heat recovery strategies. The analysis identified a clear pathway to significantly reduce emissions, addressing approximately 221.8 tCO₂e and improving overall facility energy performance.
