Amid the uncertainty the world is facing today we understand how you may be feeling. Here at Tate Engineering we have a diverse team, all with unique situations they are facing today. For me, personally, it has been a month of adjustment and, honestly, I am still working through it.
As many of you know we moved into a new office at the beginning of March. We are now operating out of 11 Falls Run, Fall River. The new space has been a positive change for our employees, clients and suppliers. With this, we also took steps to ensure our business infrastructure supported remote working. Effective March 17th we began implementing remote working for all our employees so they can stay safe, serve our client’s needs and continue to do work they enjoy.
In response to the changing world we will also be implementing web-based meetings with clients and suppliers over the next several weeks. This is a practice we plan to continue, long-term. While face-to-face meetings are important, we believe a large percentage of meetings would be more effectively held virtually. In my experience virtual meetings tend to stay on task better. Meeting virtually will also save time and travel expenses. Last, but not least, is the lessened environmental impact from reduced driving and flying.
In summary, I want you to know our team is here and ready to help. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I welcome virtual coffee meetings or a traditional phone calls to discuss how you are, how you’re coping and if there is anything we can help with - even a grocery run.
Stay positive and let’s stay in touch.
