Tate Engineering conducted a comprehensive energy analysis of a mixed-use retail and grocery facility, using RETScreen to evaluate high-impact energy conservation measures within a complex refrigeration-driven environment. The modelling focused on optimization of refrigeration systems, lighting upgrades, and operational improvements, including fine-tuning system pressures and integrating energy-efficient components. The analysis demonstrated significant energy savings potential of up to 502,200 kWh annually, highlighting how targeted operational and mechanical improvements can drive meaningful efficiency gains in commercial retail settings.
