Town of New Glasgow Energy Efficiency Program

Town-of-New-Glasgow

Tate Engineering successfully guided the Town of New Glasgow through a complex facility upgrade project. Faced with budget constraints, strict municipal approval requirements, and deferred maintenance, Tate provided clear communication, thorough energy and cost analyses, and actionable advice to build stakeholder alignment and secure council approval. The project established strong baselines, enabled the inclusion of additional building upgrades, and positioned the Town for notable greenhouse gas emission reductions and operational improvements.

As a result, community members now enjoy safer, more comfortable, and energy-efficient facilities, while the Town benefits from lower operating costs and a smaller environmental footprint. Tate’s commitment to collaboration and problem solving supported the Town’s long-term sustainability goals and delivered lasting value. As noted by Lisa MacDonald, CAO, “Their clear guidance and expertise helped us achieve our emission reduction goals and improve our facilities for everyone.”
