Murray brings decades of hands-on construction and project management experience to his role as Director of Construction Services at Tate. Starting as a contractor’s helper in his family business, his career has since spanned residential and commercial development, engineering, and owner’s representative roles for large-scale institutional clients.

At Tate, Murray leads pre-construction services with precision and foresight. He’s known for his ability to engage teams early, set clear expectations, and create the conditions for success before a shovel hits the ground. He believes in planning ahead, eliminating assumptions, and delivering results that clients can count on.

Murray is proud of the collaborative, detail-driven approach that sets Tate apart, especially when it comes to delivering schedule and budget forecasts that become trusted decision-making tools. His favourite moments are when a team clicks into gear, working in sync toward a shared goal and watching it all come together.

Outside of work, Murray is a dedicated problem solver and a straight shooter, qualities that shape how he shows up at Tate every day. And while he brings deep experience to the table, what drew him to the company was simple: Roxanne.
